3rd April 2026 - pinning views and other improvements

Allow users to ‘pin’ or favourite particular views

Last month’s release had some major improvements for developers, this one has some big benefits for everyone.

View pinning

Often, people have a favourite set of views that they frequently use. You can now ‘pin’ those to the sidebar for easy access with one click, wherever you are in the system.

To pin a view, simply click the pin icon to the left of the view name, when a view is open.

On the homepage, the pinned views will appear at the top of the lefthand navigation sidebar and in fact you can open that sidebar whenever you like by clicking the search icon in the top toolbar. To un-pin, just click the pin icon for a view.

Seeing sorts

Sometimes there’s a small amount of confusion for new users when looking at certain views about sorting - it’s not always obvious what the default sort order is when a view’s first opened. A list of customers could be alphabetical, or newest added, or by most recent activity for example.

Now, the sorts are visualised in the column headings. A green bar with a little upwards arrow means that column is sorted ascending. A red bar with a downwards arrow signifies descending.

Of course, anyone can always click a column heading to sort manually by that field.
